Sometimes you’re using the right products, but perhaps not in the right way. Sometimes you’re doing everything “right”, but there are external factors such as lifestyle, environment or hormonal changes contributing to what you’re seeing on your skin. And sometimes, we need to look a little deeper and understand why a concern is happening rather than simply treating what we can see on the surface.
That’s where our therapists come in.

We want to know about your current skincare routine, what you’ve been using, what concerns you, what you’d like to achieve and whether anything has recently changed — including medication.
A little tip for your first appointment: take photographs of the skincare products you’re currently using at home. Seeing the ingredients and active products you’re applying helps our therapists understand your routine and make more informed recommendations.

Facial Treatments FAQ
I’ve never had pH Formula before. Which facial should I book?
Don’t worry – you don’t need to choose the specific resurfacing treatment yourself.
We’ll start with your consultation and sensitivity test and use that information to determine the most appropriate treatment for your skin on the day.
You can book the 30, 60 or 90-minute facial depending on the amount of time and pampering you’d like, and your therapist will customise the treatment within that appointment.
Can I have pH Formula if I’m using active skincare at home?
This is something we definitely need to know before your treatment.
Please bring photographs of your current skincare products or let your therapist know what you’re using. Acids, retinoids and other active ingredients can influence how your skin responds to professional resurfacing.
Don’t worry about having the “perfect” skincare routine before you come to us – we’d much rather know exactly what you’re using so we can make the right decision for your skin.
How often should I have a pH Formula treatment?
That depends entirely on your skin and what we’re trying to achieve.
pH Formula’s professional approach is designed to work alongside an appropriate homecare prescription, with professional treatments and homecare working together as part of a longer-term resurfacing programme.
We’ll recommend a treatment schedule based on your individual skin rather than simply telling everyone to return every four weeks.
